Globetrotter 2 is a very well-presented general knowledge game based on geography. To progress though the game you have to gain money and experience points. You accrue these points by answering various questions about the location you're in.
You then navigate around each of the cities included in the package by guiding your on-screen character on a map of the city you're investigating.
This excellent interactive game gives you the chance to familiarise yourself with a foreign city and serves as an excellent learning tool for those planning a foreign trip or just hoping to pick up some general knowledge about the world around them.
On your way round you have the chance to answer questions about a specific subject or answer general knowledge questions about the country or city to gain experience points.
The questions are taxing and getting them right adds to your experience points, so you progress to increasingly exotic locations. The real downside to this is the fact that the first few sections of the game are set in the US (Washington, Boston, San Francisco) and therefore most of the questions are based on American political history. This would be okay, but for the fact that you have to progress through these levels before gaining access to any of the other countries. Plodding around the map can be a bit laborious at times as your own map isn't always clear.
