Cool Desk

Cool Desk allows the quick and easy creation up to nine virtual desktops on your PC - you can choose which desktop you wish to use at the click of a button. This is great for situations where you share a PC, or simply want to have a different desktop for when completing different tasks.

The Cool Desk control panel is fairly minimal and takes up very little space on your desktop(s). To alter any aspect of a particular desktop (i.e. wallpaper, icons, screensavers, layout etc) simply select the relevant desktop and alter them in the usual way, via the control panel.

Some of the more advanced features can be a little hard to grasp, and with rather brief help files it can be a little frustrating. However, the majority of features can be accessed and operated with ease, although this may involve using a modicum of initiative to figure things out.

The desktops you have created can be accessed via various methods - through icons on the desktop(s), the Cool Desk control panel, or an icon in the system tray, whichever you prefer.
