If you're still making notes on paper, you will know how easy they are to lose and how annoying it is when this happens. With WinTack, your notes are safely stored on your PC.

It enables you to create freeform sticky notes, which can be stored within WinTack itself yet are associated with a particular application or file. Create a reminder note and associate to a particular file in Word, for example, and upon opening this file, the note will pop up in a little floating window.

This principle can even be applied to specific web pages or emails, so you never need forget anything again. Open that particular file, and the associated note is launched in a popup window. The notes don't have to be simple text files, either. You can insert images, sound and even screen grabs into the notes.

You can email notes to friends or colleagues at the click of a button using your default email client and the sticky note is attached as an Rich Text Format file to the email. Should any of your notes be private or confidential, they can be password protected for security.

Your notes can be organised by category, which can be accessed via tabs at the bottom of the screen. You can select from included categories or create your own.

Hidden away in the system tray when not in use, this is an inconspicuous piece of software that really will enhance your day-to-day organisation.
