Despite its name TurboZip doesn't just handle Zip files, but can cope with all major archive and email attachment formats.
These include JAR, CAB, EXE, UU Encoded email and MIME email, along with viewers for over 100 popular file formats, meaning that there's no need to open separate applications to view files.
A clear, uncluttered interface makes TurboZip child's play to operate and, for the beginner, a Wizard will guide you through the creation or opening of an attachment.
Shell integration is fully supported, allowing various tasks to be actioned when right-clicking on a file in Windows Explorer, including compressing and emailing files or adding to existing archives.
It claims to have a higher compression ratio than other ZIP programs, resulting in smaller file sizes, and is certainly a hell of a lot quicker than many of its competitors.
