Firegraphic is an image viewer that provides both a professional look and an intuitive interface.
It might have fewer features than some of its competitors, but it more than makes up for this with slick presentation.
The program operates a little like Windows Explorer, with the screen split into four windows: a folder view, preview pane, thumbnail view and a properties window.
Select a folder and all images are presented to you as thumbnails, with the currently selected image displayed in the preview pane.
The properties window displays details on the selected image, such as file size, file format, dimensions etc.
A neat little trick is the ability to view the contents of a folder simply by hovering the mouse over the folder icon, which opens an expandable window displaying thumbnails.
Image support is limited to the standard BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, TIF and WMF formats.
Upgrade to the Pro version for CD/DVD burning tools, some basic image editing functions and better file support (PCD, PSD, PSP etc).
