XplorPlus XP is a standalone application which is intended to replace the Windows Explorer program. The interface may not be as polished but it offers a lot more than Windows Explorer.
Three panes are presented to you upon launch - two folder views and a folder-tree view. This is handy for moving folders from one location to another, and allows you to access files and folders much more quickly.
It has a huge number of options and quick links. You can jump straight to various folders (My Docs, Fonts, Windows and Recent), compare two files, backup folders, and even specify an initial folder which XplorPlus XP opens on launch.
It comes complete with lots of extras such as an Internet Explorer Cache Manager (delete cookies, history and file cache), image viewer (with image properties such as file type, dpi and size), archive viewer (for viewing archive contents without extracting), and standalone Text and Hex editors.
