TheOpenCD 3.1

TheOpenCD is a collection of well known and popular free and open source applications, bundled together as an ISO file, ready for burning straight to a CD.

Alternatively, many of the applications are available to download individually from the OpenCD website.

The included software is split into the following categories: Productivity, Design, Internet/Networking, Multimedia, Utilities and Games.

Although the contents of each category are far from comprehensive, there is more than enough software to get you started, and it's a great way to get all the software at once.

TheOpenCD is also available as a Bittorrent download, and this is the recommended method. Clicking the download link takes you to a webpage where you can choose between a Bittorrent link and number of mirror services to download the ISO file.
